Promotions Announced for Reid and Tamez

Peoples Bank Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Larry Allen, has announced promotions for two employees.

David Reid has been promoted to Banking Officer. Reid has been with Peoples Bank for four years and works in the IT Department. He was born and raised in Lubbock and is an avid adventurer. In his free time, he enjoys supporting the UMC Children’s Hospital by hosting charity events including the Extra Life charity event every year.

In making the announcement Allen said, “David has grown in his role with IT, achieved IT certifications and is always one of the first to volunteer to travel to any branch or be on call for our employees and customers.”

Christian Tamez has been promoted to Banking Officer. Tamez has been with Peoples Bank for four years and serves as Teller Supervisor at our branch located at 112^th and Quaker in Lubbock. He was born and raised in Winters, Texas, and enjoys playing golf and watching cooking shows.

Allen said, “Christian does a great job of taking care of our customers and managing the teller area at 112^th street. He started as a part-time employee and his management skills have helped him to advance quickly.”
